The Hagley Park Road in St. Andrew is now closed to facilitate a cooling-down exercise following a fire at Superior Auto Parts this afternoon.
The police are urging the motoring public to use alternative routes where possible and to expect delays when travelling in the area.
Motorists travelling westward from half-way-tree, are being diverted onto omara road.
While motorists travelling east towards Half-Way-Tree and Hagley Park Road are being redirected onto Waltham Park Road.
Members of the public are being encouraged to exercise caution and follow the instructions of the police and other emergency personnel operating in the area.
