Gramps Morgan celebrates first platinum plaque

Gramps Morgan is expressing heartfelt gratitude after receiving his first platinum plaque for sales of over one million units of the song Let’s Do It Again, recorded by Hawaiian Reggae artiste J Boog.

Gramps tells Music News that when he collaborated with J Boog on the track, accolades were the furthest thing from his mind.

Let’s Do It Again, produced by Don Corleon in 2011, was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It also earned a silver certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) for 200,000 units sold in the UK.

In addition to his feature on the hit single, Gramps Morgan also produced multiple tracks on J Boog’s Backyard Boogie album—some of which were recorded at Digital B Studio.
