The government plans to spend about 39 billion dollars on the Jamaica Constabulary Force, JCF over the next 3 years, to improve its facilities and resources.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness said this historic investment in the JCF is testament to the government’s commitment to strengthening national security.

Speaking at the contract signing for the St. Catherine North Divisional Headquarters yesterday, Mr. Holness said of the 39 billion dollars, 19.7 billion dollars will go towards building new police stations.
