The government will accelerate its deployment of technology in auditing, by leveraging Artificial Intelligence, AI. 

Finance Minister Fayval Williams made the revelation during the 2024 Audit Committees’ Conference in Kingston, this morning.

She said the use of AI will help improve accuracy, efficiency and insights in the organizational, financial and operational landscape. 

Mrs. Williams said it is important that audit committees are up to date with technology to better mitigate threats, among other things.

The Audit Committees’ Conference is being held under the theme, ‘Navigating the Future: Audit Committees as Guardians of Trust in Tomorrow’s World.’
