The Government is prioritising roof repair for thousands of residents whose homes were impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
Information Minister Dr. Dana Morris Dixon says the HEART NSTA Trust will also play a role in the reconstruction efforts.
The works will be undertaken by the Jamaica Defence Force in collaboration with engineers from the Guyana Defence Force, a technical team of engineers from Ethiopia and personnel from Rwanda.
Dr. Morris Dixon says the Government will be looking to private construction companies to assist the rebuilding efforts.
She said the visiting engineering teams will be deployed to various parishes.
The funds donated to the support Jamaica website will be used to purchase building materials.
As it relates to reconstruction grants to residents whose homes were damaged, Dr. Morris Dixon says an announcement will be made in January.
