Gov’t implements Electronic Signature and Electronically Signed Records Policy
The Electronic Signature and Electronically Signed Records Policy under the Electronic Transaction Act was fully implemented this morning.
Minister with responsibility for Efficiency, Innovation and Digital Transformation, Ambassador Audrey Marks spearheaded the implementation at this morning’s Post Cabinet Press Briefing.
According to Ambassador Marks, the primary objectives of the policy are to establish, a standardized risk based frame work for the use of electronic signatures, improve efficiency, among other things.
She explained how the electronic signatures will be categorized.
