Governor-General Sir Patrick Allen will undergo an elective spinal surgery today.

In an advisory this morning, his office said Custos Rotulorum for Kingston, Steadman Fuller, will deputize during the Governor-General’s recovery.

This is to ensure the continuity of the office.
