As Jamaica begins to rebuild from the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa, Governor General Sir Patrick Allen is calling on citizens to work together during this time.

In a statement on Thursday, Sir Patrick noted that Jamaicans need one another more than ever.

He urged those who can help to do so in any way they can.

Those who wish to support the broader relief effort are urged to donate safely and directly through the Government’s official portal at www.supportjamaica.gov.jm.
