Government to invest $600M into redevelopment of Montpellier Agriculture Research Centre over six years
The Government will be investing $600 million into the redevelopment of the Montpellier Agriculture Research Centre in St. James over six years.
Agriculture Minister Floyd Green said this aims to transform the centre’s operations to better serve farmers who face challenges with planting techniques and climate change.
He was speaking at the Montpellier Agriculture Show on Easter Monday.
Mr. Green stressed the importance of research in helping farmers be more productive and get better returns on investments.
