The government has allocated $1.5 billion towards a quarterly road patching programme, starting next month.
This programme is aimed at improving road conditions and ensuring a safer, smoother travel for motorists and pedestrians.
The initiative, led by the works ministry, through the National Works Agency (NWA) will target critical roads.
Minister with responsibility for works Robert Nesta Morgan, emphasised the government’s commitment to maintaining Jamaica’s road network.
