President of the People’s National Party, Mark Golding, is expected to continue serving as the Opposition Leader, following the September 3 General Election.

This, as 27 of the Party’s 28 Members of Parliament-elect have signed a letter to the Governor General confirming their support for Mr. Golding to continue in the leadership role.

Mr. Golding made the announcement during a press conference this morning.

He said one person is overseas and was unable to sign.

In the meantime, Mr. Golding assured that the Opposition will hold the Government to account.
