People’s National Party, (PNP) President Mark Golding is to choose who will replace Lisa Hanna as the candidate for South East St. Ann.

This as none of the three candidates secured the number of votes required to be selected.

Of the votes cast by the 778 delegates at the Ferncourt High School in Claremont St. Ann, on Sunday, Dr. Kenneth Russell secured 358, Wavell Hinds 245 and Patricia Duncan Sutherland secured 171.

Four votes were rejected.

PNP General Secretary, Dr. Dayton Campbell says given that none of the candidates received the over 50 per cent votes required, the party president will now choose Ms. Hanna’s replacement.
