Golding refutes claims that there’s tension over selection of Dr. Alfred Dawes as St.Catherine South-East candidate
Opposition Leader Mark Golding, has refuted claims that there is tension among delegates in St. Catherine South-East, over the selection of Dr. Alfred Dawes, to contest the next general election.
Mr. Golding noted that concerns were raised after Dr. Dawes was selected over councillor for the Edgewater Division, Alrick Campbell.
He said however, that he has to make decisions in the party’s best interest.
Mr. Golding said, after a short meeting, members came to a consensus on the decision made.
In the meantime, Mr. Golding said the party is gaining momentum as it prepares for the next parliamentary election.
He was speaking at the PNP’s Knock-Patrick divisional conference, at May Day High, in Manchester, at the weekend.
