Golding hits back at government in relation to fiscal prudence and Finsac
Opposition leader Mark Golding has hit back at the government, as it relates to fiscal prudence and Finsac.
This after Finance Minister Fayval Williams said the opposition’s budget debate promises would result in Finsac 2.0.
The 1990’s financial melt down adversely impacted many Jamaicans, with several yet to recover their losses, and also affected the country’s debt.
Responding to questions from reporters at a post budget debate press conference yesterday, Mr Golding noted the millions of dollars spent on the Commission of Enquiry into Finsac.
The Finsac report is yet to be made public.
Mr Golding said this was a waste of expenditure.
