German-Jamaican Dustin Brown knocked out of Wimbldeon doubles
German-Jamaican Tennis player Dustin Brown and his Argentine teammate Sebastian Baez were knocked out of the men’s doubles event at Wimbledon in the third round.
This as they suffered a 6-3,6-3 defeat to Spain’s Marcel Granollers and Argentine Horacio Zeballos, in a match that lasted only 1 hour and 3 minutes.
Brown and Baez advanced to the third round after their Austrian opponents, Sebastian Ofner and Sam Weissborn, retired after 31 minutes of play in yesterday’s game.
The 39 year old Brown, who defeated Rafael Nadal twice in his career, is playing at Wimbledon for the first time since 2017.
