Written byK'Shema Francis-Pitt
Dancehall veteran General B says he is willing to reunite the Monster Shack Crew, although he has suggested that fellow member Ghost may be hesitant about the idea.
Speaking during his Road To Success interview with on the Easy Skankin show with Kshema Francis on IRIE FM, General B said he had a conversation with Ghost about the possibility of bringing the group back together.
He explained that he used the longstanding rivalries between Vybz Kartel and Mavado, as well as Beenie Man and Bounty Killer, as examples to encourage Ghost to recognize that securing a lasting musical legacy is more important than holding on to past grievances.
The Monster Shack Crew, made up of General B, Ghost and Roundhead, was one of the prominent dancehall groups of the 1990s.
According to General B, a musical fallout between Ghost and Roundhead was the source of the group’s split.
