“The ruling Jamaica Labour Party does not support abuse against women.”

That is the declaration from Gender Minister, Olivia Grange.

She said shelters are being provided for abused women, as part of the Government’s effort to remove them from brutal and degrading situations.

Ms. Grange was speaking in South Central St. Catherine last night.
