Dancehall artiste Gaza Indu has publicly expressed gratitude to Olympian Usain for the role he played in saving her life.

During a recent interview on The Fix, Gaza Indu, an original member of Vybz Kartel’s Portmore Empire, recounted being diagnosed with cervical cancer after giving birth to twins and the struggles she encountered while trying to fight the disease.

Gaza Indu shared that amid her struggles she reached out to Bolt, who did not hesitate to help. She shared that upon getting a contact number for him she messaged him and received a response at 2 o’clock one morning. Gaza Indu said, after sharing her plight with the decorated track legend, He eagerly assisted her with funds for treatment.  She said without Bolt’s assistance; she would not have survived the disease.

She also revealed that a popular collaboration with Vybz Kartel was made just before an Entertainment Buzz interview on IRIE FM in 2009.
