Frazier’s Whip suffer second consecutive loss in Concacaf Women’s Champions Cup

Jamaica Women’s Premier League champion Frazier’s Whip suffered their second consecutive loss in group A of the 2024/25 Concacaf Women’s Champions Cup last night .

This after crashing to a five nil loss to Mexican outfit CF Monterrey Femenil at the Estadio BBVA in Mexico. It was the second loss by a five nil margin for Frazier’s Whip, who were beaten by the exact scoreline last month in their opening game against Alajuense .

The home side was led to victory thanks to a double strike by Marcela Restrepo who netted in the 5i1st and 87th minutes respectively.

Earlier, Frazier’s Whip almost got on the score-sheet in the 34th, but Davia Richards’ well-struck free kick rebounded off the crossbar.

Meanwhile, in other results in the group Gotham FC blanked Alajuense nil, to move to second in the five team group, behind leaders Tigress Uanl who has superior goal difference.

Ajaluense lies third and CF Monterry fourth with Frazier Whip the only team in the group yet to get on the winners column.

The St Catherine-based club side will be in action on September 18, when they host Tigres Uanl Femenil at the National Stadium.
