Four-way battle for top spot in Wray and Nephew JPL intensifies on Match Day 6

The race for sole ownership of first place in the Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) heats up this weekend as Racing United, Portmore United, Montego Bay United and Chapelton Maroons continue their thrilling four-way battle at the top of the standings.

All four teams are currently locked on 10 points. However, Racing United—still undefeated this season—sit at the summit on goal difference and with a game in hand. The Clarendon-based side, who were held to a draw in their last outing, will return to action on Sunday when they face Tivoli Gardens in a 3:30 p.m. kick-off at Dunbeholden.

Later that day, Montego Bay United, who occupy third place, will be seeking to keep pace with the leaders when they take on newly promoted Spanish Town Police at the Montego Bay Sports Complex. That fixture is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., following the 4:30 clash between Treasure Beach and Harbour View.

Match Day 6 concludes on Monday with a double-header at the Waterhouse Mini Stadium. Second-place Portmore United will square off with Molynes United at 5:00 p.m., before Waterhouse welcome fourth-place Chapelton Maroons at 7:30 p.m.
