Former Reggae Boyz Technical Director Clovis de Oliveira is pleading for patience
Former Reggae Boyz Technical Director Clovis de Oliveira is pleading for patience as he takes charge of Jamaica Premier League strugglers Chapelton Maroons.
Chapelton who controversially parted ways with previous head coach Lenworth ‘teacha’ Hyde, are currently at the foot of the standings having been docked six of their amassed 8 points for failing to field a team against Mount Pleasant on match day 11.
They returned to action yesterday where they played out a nil-all draw with dunbeholden under the guidance of interim head Nigel Stewart
While asking for patience de Oliveira, who arrived in the island yesterday, avoided promising a title, but says there will be improvement.
The 68 year old is also of the view that his tenure will not be affected by the turmoil caused as a result of the controversial manner of coach Hyde’s departure.
