Former PM Bruce Golding says international order must be drastically revised to ensure it benefits all nations

Former Prime Minister, Bruce Golding, says the international order – the set of rules, norms and institutions that govern how countries interact with each other – must be drastically revised to ensure it benefits all nations.

While addressing the 14th World Peace Forum at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, on Friday, Mr. Golding lamented how many countries continue to be disadvantaged by the evolving international order.

He stressed the need for it to be equitable, as poor countries with weak capabilities are required to compete with rich and powerful nations as if they are equals.
