Former national  striker Jorginho James  is  facing  serious  charges after  he  was  seen  on  a  video  which  has  gone  viral  assaulting  his  wife  Crystal  James  while  their  one  year  old  daughter   watched  the  incident.

The  former Houston  Dynamo player who was out on bond following  a  March 2024 incident where  he  assaulted a family  member, by strangling which  was  also  said  to  be  his  wife,  is  to  face  the  court  in  October.

Following the latest incident, on August 31, he was charged with violation of protective order or bond conditions, that condition required that he wear an ankle monitor which he has been doing since March.

The 30 year old James who scored on his reggae boys debut in 2012 while a student at Kingston  College was given bail of 20 thousand  dollars.
