The St. Ann police have launched an investigation into the death of a foreign national at a resort in the parish yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as 66-year-old Rosa Leen McKone, a retired postal worker of Lincoln Road, Doncaster, England.

Reports are that at about 8:10 p.m., McKone was found on the floor of her hotel room unresponsive.

Attempts were made to resuscitate her however they proved unsuccessful.

The police were summoned and McKone was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
