The St. James police are probing the murder of two people in Barrett Town, last evening.

Their identities have not yet been released, but the police say one of the deceased is a foreign national.

Reports are that at about 8:40 p.m., the man and woman were along Tortuga Drive when gunmen opened fire hitting them.

They were pronounced dead at hospital.
