Flippa Moggela’s U.S. drug case delayed

Dancehall entertainer Flippa Moggela’s U.S. drug case has been delayed as prosecutors continue reviewing evidence in the matter.

The entertainer, whose real name is Andrew Davis, appeared in court this week, where the judge granted additional time for the prosecution to review evidence and continue discussions. The case is now scheduled to return to court on August 10.

According to U.S. prosecutors, Flippa Moggela is accused of being involved in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl in New Jersey. He has pleaded not guilty to the allegations.

The case follows Flippa Moggela’s previous conviction in the United States for drug trafficking and money laundering. He was released on parole in 2022 after serving about nine years of that sentence before facing the current charges.
