Five persons were held during special operations conducted in sections of the St. Catherine North police division, today.

The police also seized guns and ammunition.

The update came from head of the division Superintendent Hopton Nicholson during a press briefing.

He noted that the operation in the Frazers Content district followed reports of a recent spike in criminal activity.

He noted that 2 men are being sought for questioning in relation to crimes committed in Frazers Content.
