Five Haitians to answer to illegal entry charge in court today following raid in Christiana, Manchester on Sunday
The five Haitians who were arrested during a raid at a house in Spring Ground, Christiana, Manchester on Sunday are to appear in court today.
The Haitians were charged on Tuesday for entering the island, illegally.
The charge was laid against the 4 men and a woman who is believed to be pregnant, following an interview by representatives from the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA).
Commanding Officer for the Manchester police Acting Superintendent Lucas Daniels said the court will decide if they should be sent back to Haiti.
