Firefighters are still working to extinguish a fire at two business establishments along Ashenheim road in St. Andrew.

The massive fire which engulfed Pure National Ice and an Azan Supercentre Warehouse began at about 1:00 P.M.

There is no report of serious injury.

An employee who was trapped in the warehouse told IRIE FM News that he was rescued from the  burning building.

He said he sustained minor scrapes and bruises while being rescued.

Meantime, Commissioner of the Jamaica Fire Brigade, Stewart Beckford said 6 units responded to the blaze.

The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained.
