The fire brigade and police have launched an investigation into a major fire at a business place, in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, yesterday.

Head of the St. Catherine North Police, Superintendent Hopton Nicholson told Irie Fm News that about 3:30 pm, firefighters and lawmen responded to calls about the blaze, at the intersection of young and Morrison Streets.

He said up to 9 o’clock last evening, firefighters were still conducting cooling-down operations.
