The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation, (FBI) is among international agencies working with the Jamaican police in the probe into a series of bomb threats, which began last week.

National Security Minister Dr Horace Chang says all required resources in the security forces have been mobilized, to apprehend the perpetrators.

Since last Thursday, several bomb threats have been reported at several institutions, including over 70 schools. The most recent threats were reported at the New Kingston Shopping Centre on Tuesday and at the office of the South East Regional Health Authority (SERHA).

Dr Chang says the authorities are pursuing the perpetrators, aggressively.

The minister outlines the various institutions impacted by the threats.

He says due to the incident, the authorities will have to expand the emergency operation teams.
