“Fatherhood is not only about provision, it is about presence, and presence changes everything.”

That’s the declaration from Gender Minister, Olivia Grange, as she charged the nation’s fathers to step outside of traditional male roles into others where children can relate their presence to care, love, healing and a sense of home.

She said this will encourage children to lead with empathy and passion during adulthood.

She also highlighted the positive impact that involved fathers can have on girls’ future relationships.
