For the fourth time in a month, hotel workers are protesting over wage concerns.

Irie Fm News understands that workers at Excellence Oyster Bay in Falmouth, Trelawny have taken industrial action, to register their frustration.

Last week, workers of the Iberostar Hotel and the Secrets and Breathless Resorts in Montego Bay, St James, staged protests.

Workers at the Royalton Hotel in Negril staged a similar demonstration last month, highlighting wage concerns among other issues.

Last night, Prime Minister Andrew Holness said he has taken note of the protests and has tasked Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett to address the grievances of workers in the sector.
