Everest Drive in Harbour View, St. Andrew will be the first of several projects undertaken through the Shared Prosperity Through Accelerated Improvement to our Road Network (SPARK) programme.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Chief Executive Officer of the National Works Agency (NWA) E.G. Hunter have scheduled a project walk-through for this morning.

NWA’s Communication and Customer Service Manager, Stephen Shaw says the road is approximately 1.1 kilometres in length.

Its condition is classified as “bad”, needing full reconstruction.

The NWA says Everest Drive was nominated by the Bay Shore community following consultation meetings earlier this year.
