The Education Transformation Oversight Committee, (ETOC) says the implementation of the revamped school board selection process, will be one of its strategic priorities for 2025.

Chairman of ETOC, Dr. Adrian Stokes says, by enacting this initiative, the country will be able to see the impact of the transformation, of the education sector.

He emphasises that this must be tackled to enhance the governance of schools.

Meanwhile, Education Minister Dr Dana Morris-Dixon, says the ministry will take steps to examine the process to select school boards, to ensure the right persons are in place to take schools forward.

She says when schools have stronger leaders, the outcomes will be better.
