Etienne Maurice son of Jamaican born Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph is proceeding with his wedding ceremony on the island despite the impact of hurricane Beryl

The Film & Video Producer is set to wed ABC News Journalist Stephanie Wash on Saturday, July 6.

In a post on Instagram Etienne shared a video of himself walking through a community informing his followers that the rain has passed, and he is praying that his guests are able to make it to the island for the ceremony.

As a caption Etienne wrote in part that he and his family are safe with minimal damage to property. He continued by sending his love to the persons unable to make it to the wedding while sharing that this is not the wedding, he hoped for, but it is in God’s hands.

On Wednesday his mom, posted a video on X giving an update on the weather as the country braced for impact. Beryl later battered the island with hurricane-force winds, leaving many citizens without power and utilities.
