The estimate of damage to the agriculture sector in the wake of Hurricane Beryl has again increased.

The initial estimate was $1 billion, which was then raised to $3 billion.

In a statement to Parliament today, Portfolio Minister Floyd Green said the estimate is now $4.7 billion.
