EPOC says remittances to Jamaica decreased by 1.2% in the last quarter
The Economic Programme Oversight Committee (EPOC) has indicated that remittances to Jamaica decreased by 1.2% in the third quarter of this year.
The main source markets for remittances to the island are the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Speaking at a Quarterly Press Conference yesterday, EPOC Chair Keith Duncan, noted that the marginal decline is in line with a normalizing of flows that had increased significantly during the Covid-19 pandemic.
