Voting is progressing smoothly in the four by-elections in the constituencies of Trelawny Southern and St. Andrew North Western, as well as the divisions of Aenon Town in Clarendon and Morant Bay in St. Thomas.

The Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) said all polling stations opened on time for the by-elections.

The Opposition People’s National Party (PNP) is only contesting the by-elections at the municipality level.

Voting continues until 5:00 PM.

Director of Elections, Glaspole Brown told IRIE FM News that so far there have been no reports of major incidents.
