EOJ offices to open on Saturday
The Electoral Office of Jamaica EOJ will open all constituency offices this Saturday, march 30 .
The offices will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., to allow eligible persons to register to vote.
The EOJ has extended the hours, to facilitate persons who may not have been able to
visit its offices during the regular opening hours.
Individuals who wish to be added to the voters’ list may apply at the nearest EOJ constituency office.
Director of Elections, Glasspole Brown is urging individuals to apply before the deadline.
Those who register after the March 30 deadline will miss inclusion in the May 31
voters’ list and will have to wait to be added to the November 30 list.
Prospective electors are advised to wear bright or dark-coloured clothing to facilitate the process
of taking their photograph.
Persons already on the voters’ list are reminded not to re-apply, instead, request a renewal if
their voter id card has expired.
Individuals seeking more information on voter registration and electoral procedures can visit the
EOJ website or contact the nearest EOJ office.
