All Electoral Office of Jamaica (EOJ) Constituency Offices will open on Saturdays to facilitate the collection of voter ID cards
The offices will open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm starting this Saturday August 9.
The hours have been extended in an effort to facilitate registered electors who may not be able to collect their voter ID card during the regular opening hours ahead of the upcoming elections.
Director of Elections, Glasspole Brown expressed that there have been a number of requests, from electors who want to collect their ID card, but cannot make it to the offices before closing hours during the work-week.
The EOJ is appealing to all electors who have not collected their renewed voter ID card to take advantage of this opportunity so that they can take it to the polling station on election day.
