Elaine Thompson-Herah named Christian Dior brand ambassador

Double Olympic 100m and 200m champion Elaine Thompson-Herah has been selected as an ambassador for luxury fashion house Christian Dior’s ‘ Team’ in anticipation of the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The collaboration with Dior marks a significant milestone in Thompson-Herah’s career as it is her first partnership with a global fashion brand, making her the sole Caribbean athlete to be appointed as an ambassador.

It also add to her growing portfolio that has existing deals with sportswear giant Puma and Caribbean telecommunications company Flow, further solidifying her stature both on and off the track.

As well as Thompson-Herah, the 15 member star-studded Dior ‘Dream Team’ includes the likes of U.S. women’s soccer star Alex Morgan, Australian swimmer Emma McKeon, French boxer Estelle Mossely, Japanese fencer Misaki Emura, Hawaiian surfer Carissa Moore and French judoka Clarisse Agbégnénou, who is eying her second Olympic gold after triumphing in Tokyo.

A series of portraits will be on display at Le Café Dior in La Galerie Dior at the brand’s flagship store in Paris from July 24 to September 9, celebrating their achievements and dedication to excellence.

‘The exhibition serves as a tribute to exceptional performance and an encouragement to continuously challenge the boundaries of creativity in pursuit of passion and freedom,’ Dior remarked regarding the showcase.
