Education Ministry to roll out national student dress and grooming policy in short order

The Education Ministry will be rolling out the national student dress and grooming policy in short order.
Portfolio Minister, Dr. Dana Morris Dixon made the disclosure at the Jamaica Teachers’ Association annual conference in Trelawny yesterday.
The policy aims to balance students’ rights while complying with school rules.
Dr. Morris Dixon urged school administrators to ensure that students comply with established dress and grooming guidelines.
The minister said the policy will guide administrators as they develop dress and grooming rules.
She also urging parents to encourage their children to follow school polices.
