Approximately 28,000 students will benefit from the 2023 national summer school, which got under way earlier this week.

This was disclosed by Minister of Education, Fayval Williams, who indicated that the summer programme, runs from July 10 to 27.

Mrs. Williams noted that summer school is being facilitated in 57 institutions, using face-to-face and online modalities, at no cost to parents.

She explained that the summer school programme is a lot more targeted this year, than it has been in the past.

She was speaking during the post-cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House.
