Education Minister Dr. Dana Morris Dixon says 300 public school cooks received training to provide more nutritional meals for students
Education Minister Dr. Dana Morris Dixon says cooks at the island’s public schools received training over the summer holiday in an effort to provide more nutritional meals for students.
She revealed this at yesterday’s post cabinet press briefing.
Dr. Morris-Dixon said nutrition is very vital to the development of children.
She said the 300 school cooks were trained by the Heart/NSTA Trust.
She said the chefs were taught how to cook meals that are more balanced.
