Education Minister Fayval Williams has advised the Jamaica Teacher’s Association to implement measures that will enable it to remain relevant in a rapidly evolving world.
She made the statement at this morning’s Anniversary Church Service for the Jamaica Teacher’s Association (JTA).
She said among these initiatives to remain relevant are to continue to ensure that teachers are motivated and that the voices of teachers are considered in decision making processes.
According to the minister, the JTA can also continue to promote ethical standards within the teaching profession and promote bonds with local and international educational organizations.
