Education Minister, Dr. Dana Morris Dixon has departed the island for the World Government Summit in Dubai.

The summit starts today and will continue until February 5. 

In a post on Instagram yesterday, Dr. Morris Dixon said she will be speaking about the future of education. 

She noted that she will also seek to meet other ministers of education and key stakeholders in the sector.

According to the minister, it is important that whatever is being done in Jamaica is meeting world standards.

The summit will convene under the theme “Shaping Future Governments”.

It is expected to bring together governments, international organizations, thought and private-sector leaders from around the globe to foster international cooperation and identify innovative solutions for future challenges.
