“Economic strength must be matched by diplomatic strength.”

That is the declaration from Prime Minister Andrew Holness, as he stressed the importance of defending democracy in Jamaica and abroad.

Dr. Holness was addressing the nation during his swearing-in ceremony at King’s House yesterday.

He noted that while Jamaica strives for economic stability, efforts must also be made to defend smaller States.
