Droop Lion to headline concert for Queen’s School music band
In a move to support the development of music skills in schools, reggae artiste Droop Lion will headline a benefit concert for The Queen’s School music band on February 17.
The event, promoted by Born Music, will feature a star-studded lineup including Lukie D, Nature Ellis, Prophecy, Tellah, and Andrew Paul.
In a release Droop Lion, known for his powerful voice and righteous message, emphasized the importance of supporting music education in schools. The artiste wrote that music is more than a message, it’s a way for youths to cultivate discipline and expand their skills.
The concert titled “Let the Children Dance,” aims to raise $5,000 USD to support the music program at the institution.
In addition to his philanthropic efforts, Droop Lion is gearing up for a busy 2025. The reggae star is set to release a new album and embark on an European tour.
Droop Lion is known for hits such as Ganja Baby, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, and Freeway.
