The Medical Appeal Tribunal has directed that Neurosurgeon Dr. Roger Hunter’s Certificate of Registration should be returned to him.

The decision was published in the Jamaica Gazette on April 17, 2026 by command of Governor General Sir Patrick Allen.

According to the government notice, the tribunal instructed on April 15, 2026 that the decision made by the Medical Council of Jamaica to suspend Dr. Hunter from practising should be rescinded and the certificate returned.
